This is a fantastic recent article from AI Trends about Healthcare tech. It is written from a US perspective and of course their system is different that here in the UK. But the principles problems are the same.

We have a wide range of devices and IOT that can and do collect healthcare data from a person, but how is that shared and how do you then safely use AI to analyse that data. The data is the patient's and of course should be seen as that. but will collaborations being across multiple vendors and software houses and even multiple AI applications it is unclear if the developers themselves know where the data is help and how it is used if this broad collaboration runs its course.

Transparency is the key from what the different commentators have said and I can see how that then might impact IP and commercially sensitive information, but when we are talking about NHS Digital in the UK and the Primary healthcare networks, we should be working with a more common methodology for centralised electronic medical records, although I know that is still a challenge.

Anyway, take a look at the article and see what you think.
